Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 4
Student will learn how to make a different type of slime each week. I will guide them through each step of the process with power point so that I can help out the students that require a bit more guidance. We will discuss the process and the science behind what is happening to make normal everyday ingredients into slime. This will be a laid back class and the students are encouraged to discuss and have fun. Best of all, when they are finished this class, they will have recipes for 5 different types of slime and will have hours of fun with them.
The first week we will be making flubber slime.
The second week we will do something a bit different and make an edible slime.
The third week we will make oobleck slime.
The fourth week we will make cloud dough slime.
The fifth week we will finish off with glass slime.
The students will be expected to participate in the class discussion as well as the slime making. If a student is shy, they can pass if needed though.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the science behind how slime is made while having fun creating different recipes.
