Assignments

US Grade 9 - 12
Beginner - Advanced Level
1) Basics of performance poetry 2) Free verse and spoken word poetry 3) Syllabic distribution, punctuation, and other tempo tools for reading 4) Figurative vs Literal Language and when to use them 5) Many more! This course will be individually tailored to each student, depending upon their starting point. We will share brainstorming ideas, hone word choice, and make sure you are expressing the precise intent in your mind.

Parental Guidance
Because of the nature of creative writing, the student will be primarily responsible for guiding topics. However, rest assured that inappropriate material will not be acceptable.

If students wish to work on already written work, this will be the only thing they need to bring.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
