In this one time class, we will sort our skittles by color, graph them, arrange them in a pattern, and then discover what happens when we add a surprise ingredient in the middle.

Description
Class Experience
Students will talk about the colors of the rainbow. Students will be able to discuss more or less by grouping their colors.
1 file available upon enrollment- round white plate (a coated paper plate works fine too) - large bag of skittles (or 3-4 fun-size packets) - a cup of hot/warm water
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal observation of the experiment and their drawing
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Since this is for young learners and might be a bit messy, having a parent nearby is highly recommended.
