Specialized Subjects: Delving into a comprehensive range of executive function topics for learners Grades 3-8, including Common Core, but not limited to: Organization Time Management - Short & Long Term Planning Study Skills & Test Prep Self Advocacy - Asking for Help Task Initiation Special Education Goal & Benchmark Support Homework Help Tailored Sessions: Each one-on-one session is exclusively designed to meet your child's specific academic needs and learning style across a spectrum of subjects and grade levels. Whether reinforcing fundamental concepts or delving into more advanced topics, my goal is to tailor each engaging session to support your child's individual learning journey. To make each session accessible and impactful to all, I will incorporate visuals, multisensory approaches, movement, interventions, tools, and fun during our session to build up confidence with greater accuracy and independence. Background knowledge in the topic is not necessary. One to one tutoring is an excellent choice for getting extra executive function support! Interactive Learning: Using a plethora of engaging tools, such as Nearpod, I ensure an interactive and meaningful learning environment. Your child will actively engage with lessons, participate in games, utilize various digital tools, and explore activities designed to make learning both enjoyable and effective. Each session is individualized to reinforce learning in the area of interest. Tools that will be utilized will be age appropriate, inclusive of all genders, ethnicities, backgrounds, and multiple perspectives. Tools used during our sessions do not include any vulgar language or violence.

I have extensive experience (16+ years) with special education inclusion, co-teaching models, small group instruction, and individualized support amongst grades 3-8. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Theatre, along with my Master’s of Education Degree in Special Education, I have a plethora of outstanding experiences, impactful and user-friendly tools, helpful learning strategies tailored to your learning style, and personalizing the virtual learning experience! I hold a multitude of additional certifications, including Wilson Reading training, Mental Health First Aid, and for various online learning tools and platforms.
