Class Experience
During this one-on-one class, we will be using a program called Sketchup. You are able to use this program for free for 30 days. We will begin by learning some of the more common tools Sketchup has to offer. From there, we will be building a simple 3-D model of a house. Along the way, we will talk about the basic architectural aspects of a house and how it should be built to print correctly. We will even take a peek at the 3-D printer and its functions. I love 3-D modeling and hope your child will too!

Hello! My name is Jan and I am so excited to work with your child. I have a Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University in Graphic Design and 20 years of experience working with children in the classroom. I am TESOL certified and have been teaching online for the last year. Before teaching online, my husband and I owned a S.T.E.A.M. Innovation Center where we taught camps and classes. I am excited to bring these camps and classes to Outschool. I love working with children. My favorite thing to do is to play games with my kids. I have three children.
