Students will learn how to construct a sketch of a Eastern dragon in baby form and develop the sketch into a complete drawing with shading techniques.

Description

Class Experience

Eastern dragon anatomy will be covered in this lesson. Students will learn how to construct a whole creature with simple shapes. They will learn how to shade the creature with pencils to add volumes onto the sketch and create three dimensional perspective. A step-by-step instruction will be given on the lesson so all students can easily follow along.

Students will be asked to share their works on the cameras to receive feedback from instructor and have a chance to see other works from their...

- Pencil (2B or darker such as 3B, 4B,...)
- Eraser (cut by half diagonally)
- Q tips (or stumps)
- Cotton balls
- Soft hair brushes (optional)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
