Description
Class Experience
Animals have been used in art for a long time to deliver a passage from a work of art, especially portraiture. This class is intentionally designed to help students study an animal by sketching with pencils. Students will not only learn how to construct an animal but also experiment on techniques of shading in order to turn the sketch into a realistic drawing. Step-by-step instructions will be given so students can easily follow along. This class is friendly for those who would like to learn...
- Pencil (2B or darker such as 3B, 4B,...) - Eraser (cut by half diagonally) - Q tips (or stumps) - Cotton balls - Soft hair brushes (optional)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
