1 live meeting
1 in-class hours per weekClass Experience
Artists will meet weekly to fill their sketchbooks with step-by-step illustrations and drawings. In these demonstrations I will discuss important drawing concepts. In each class students will be introduced to new topics in a bite size way as we apply it to our drawings. We will work with graphite pencils, pens and color pencils. In this ongoing club we will explore illustrations to subject study and drawing challenges to fill our sketchbooks. This is a great way to improve drawing skills. Students can jump in at anytime of the year. This class does not build on itself. I will keep worksheets and pdfs on student dashboards for any student that wants extra practice or review on concepts or techniques. I will have a camera set on my sketchbook for demonstration. I will check in on each artist's work throughout the demonstration. Students will be exploring different media and subjects. We will dive into subject study from exploring a subject in multiple angles to different movements. There will be themed step by step illustrations and monthly drawing challenges spread out through out the year. I like to keep the weekly topics aligned with seasons and events. 1.
