his lesson will teach learners how to draw different landscapes. To accomplish this, students will learn about: 🖼️ Composition: Gain an understanding of artistic principles such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, and balance to create visually engaging scenes. ⛰️ Perspective: Master different types of perspective (one-point, two-point, and atmospheric) to add depth and realism to your drawings. 🏞️Details: Pay attention to elements like trees, rocks, water, and sky to enhance the authenticity of your landscapes. 🌅 Adding dimension: Use various drawing techniques and tools, such as cross-hatching, stippling, and blendin to add texture and dimension. 🌃 Light and Shadow: Learn how light and shadow impact the landscape and practice shading to create a depth. This class follows a tutorial format 🎥 where I will demonstrate each step clearly on video. As this is a one-time self-paced class, learners have the option to pause ⏸️ the video at any point. Along with this pre-recorded video footage, learners will also find close-up shots showcasing finer details (e.g. how to draw individual hair strands or various blending or shading techniques). Throughout the video, learners can expect to find additional graphics to support them in their understanding of specific concepts and techniques.💡 You can find additional resources, from reference photos to links to YouTube clips and additional art activities, on the classroom page. 🎨 📩 Progress photos and completed artwork can be submitted through the Outschool messaging system and I am more than happy to provide feedback and/or constructive criticism!
