Students will be given a different sketch prompt each week to base their artwork on. Different brainstorming techniques, critical thinking, and problem solving skills will be explored through these sketch prompts. Students are encouraged to "think outside of the box"! The class will begin with a conversation about the day's sketching prompt, followed by a brainstorming session. Students will learn various ways to brainstorm over the course of 4 weeks. This class is taught in English.
Students will learn critical thinking and problem solving skills while creating an artwork. Students will explore the use of their imagination as they answer a series of sketching prompts.
-Paper (or sketchbook) -ANY other supply needed is up to the student! They may use anything they'd like to create their art during this class (pencils, pens, colored pencils, watercolors, acrylics, markers, crayons, etc....)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
