1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Beginning with story time, I will read "Sir Cumference and the Sword in the Cone" by Cindy Neuschwander. Then with a 3D geometric shapes video clip, we will examine the importance of shapes in our everyday world. We will discuss what geometric shapes are, how they are formed, and why it is important to understand them. The students will then create some 3D shapes of their own using templates provided. Finally, I will provide a link enrichment activity for after class to continue the study of geometry. This is a great introduction into geometric shapes, or a good review, for anyone who needs it.

Hello from Texas! Although I am currently residing in Texas, we move quite often and that has allowed me to have many different types of career experiences. I have tutored privately and through well-known organizations; taught in the public school classroom setting with a self-contained classroom (including 4th grade and Texas History); substituted and interned in private school classroom settings; instructed at the community college level (History); assisted with museum operations; and homeschooled my three munchkins. I have worked with early education all the way up to the community college level. My Bachelors is in childhood education with a Master's in American History.
