Sir Cumference & the Great Knight of Angleland [Angles] (Live Class)
What's included
1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Beginning with story time, I will read "Sir Cumference & the Great Knight of Angleland" by Cindy Neuschwander. Then with an angle video clip, we will examine the importance of mathematical angles. We will discuss what right, obtuse, and acute angles are, why they are formed, and why it is important to understand them. Students will then be asked to find angles in the room around them. Finally, I will provide a link enrichment activity for after class to continue the study of angles. This is a great introduction into angles, or a good review, for anyone who needs it.

Hello from Texas! Although I am currently residing in Texas, we move quite often and that has allowed me to have many different types of career experiences. I have tutored privately and through well-known organizations; taught in the public school classroom setting with a self-contained classroom (including 4th grade and Texas History); substituted and interned in private school classroom settings; instructed at the community college level (History); assisted with museum operations; and homeschooled my three munchkins. I have worked with early education all the way up to the community college level. My Bachelors is in childhood education with a Master's in American History.
