Description
Class Experience
Students will love singing and reading together in this fun and fast-paced class. Our songs will be fun children's songs (Raffi songs, Bingo, On Top Of Spaghetti, etc.). I'll even take requests! The purpose in these songs is to have fun singing, and to promote positive interactions among all students. Our story time will feature short, fun books geared toward very young children (Elephant and Piggie, Go Dog Go, Press Here, Shel Silverstein poems, etc.) The purpose of these books is to give...

Students will develop positive social skills, and a love for reading through carefully selected songs, poems, and children's books.
A former elementary school librarian with a degree in Family and Child Development, introducing children to authentic literature in a positive social-emotional environment is one of my biggest passions.
