Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi there! I'm Miss Chloe and I'm so excited to meet you in class!
WHAT I TEACH:
I teach 1 :1 lessons for professional and pre-professional students as well as group classes in vocal performance, singing, acting, auditioning, musical theatre, pop singing, microphone handling, acting for the camera, scene study, workshops of original content and many, many more.
My students have appeared on Broadway in HAMILTON, VIOLET, TUCK EVERLASTING, and SCHOOL OF ROCK, as well as in Regional Theatre productions, Films, TV Series, Commercials, and Voice Overs. My students have won various awards including Access Broadway’s: Best Vocalist, both Regionally and Nationally. Additionally, her students have been accepted to Carnegie Mellon, NYU, Marymount Manhattan College, The University of Michigan, Rutgers University, and more.
My formal training is from Marymount Manhattan College on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. My degree in Acting, Musical Theatre with a concentration in Vocal Performance. The majority of my time is spent teaching private lessons to students of all ages- from beginner to Broadway Veteran! I was fortunate to create the opportunity to co-found a community theatre in my hometown that has continued to bring professional-level performances to the community for almost 18 years. At the Madison Theatre at Molloy College, I worked as the Education Coordinator for the theatre, creating, developing, and executing various programs and opportunities for students. I served as the sole vocal technique teacher and founded the Vocal Technique Department of The Madison Theatre's MT Summer Intensive at Molloy College for 3 years, managing the 80 students that auditioned and were accepted into the program privately in addition to my own private studio students until my 4th year, when we were able to establish the budget to afford additional teachers. Other experience available upon request.
As a performer, I'm currently in production (pandemic pending) as a principal role in the upcoming Amazon original series, PLATINUM DREAMS. On stage, I've appeared both regionally and off-Broadway. Some of my favorite roles include; Holly in THE WEDDING SINGER (Broadway World Nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a musical), Nellie Forbush in SOUTH PACIFIC, Kate in THE WILD PARTY (Andrew Lippa), Adelaide in GUYS AND DOLLS, Lola in DAMN YANKEES, and in original/new works premiering at, the Manhattan International Theatre Festival, NY Theatre Festival, and NY Winterfest. On-screen, I've been seen in LAW AND ORDER SVU, THE GOOD WIFE, THE TODAY SHOW, UGLY BETTY, and CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC, and in films that have been featured at The Manhattan Film Festival and The Hoboken International Film Festival. On the concert stage, I've performed at iconic venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, and The York.
Helping others achieve their potential is my greatest passion. My personal motto is to BE who YOU needed... I believe in working hard, being kind, and delivering excellence.
Teaching is a huge passion of mine! Since my first experience teaching music, I have loved having the chance to share what I know with others. I studied piano, violin, organ, and harp extensively while growing up. I teach singing and acting lessons and still perform in many situations.
People are my passion... I love to travel, my sweet dog Maisie.
I am forever grateful to have been adopted by my heroine of a Mom who instilled morals, values, work ethic, and the bravery to dream deep in my heart. My Mother fought and eventually lost a year-long battle with cancer on November 18, 2020. Thank you to my ongoing students for being a source of joy throughout.
I LOVE when students have a positive attitude! Looking forward to seeing you in the classroom!
