Are you someone who has always dreamed of taking voice lessons but feels too nervous to sing one-on-one? Or maybe it's just not feasible to fit private lessons into your budget right now? If so, I have a solution for you! I am excited to offer a recorded class with lessons and challenges that you can complete on your own time, without the pressure of other students or the stress of being watched. As a voice teacher with 10 years of experience, I have found that this format is a fantastic alternative for learning about singing. Each week, we will explore a new aspect of the voice, starting with analyzing various voices and identifying what we like and what is considered a "healthy" sound. We will also delve into the biological workings of the voice and learn proper breathing and posture techniques. Over the course of the program, we will cover topics such as belting, head voice, switching registers, riffing, and scatting. We'll even study famous opera divas and divos! Learning how to sing is a lifelong process, and I am thrilled to be a part of your journey. Homework will include various exercises, such as pitch matching and breathing exercises, as well as challenges to submit recordings of your favorite songs and new songs you've learned along the way. Private feedback will be offered through messaging. By the end of the program, you will have gained confidence in your singing abilities and learned a variety of new techniques to incorporate into your singing practice. So why not take the first step and join our recorded class today?
