Singing Circle Time for Little Learners With Teacher Debbie

We will sing a song where we say hello to each other in English, Spanish, and Chinese.  During each class meeting, we will sing the seasons, the months of the year, the days of the week, the primary and secondary colors, the letter of the day and its sound in synthetic phonics, the daily sight word in a sentence, numbers, and one type of money.  All of the English concepts we sing will be personalized for that day.  For example, we will sing, "Yesterday was Monday; today is Tuesday; tomorrow is Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday!  We will include this type of personalization at the end of the songs we sing about the seasons, months, days, letters, and sight words.  During each class meeting, we will sing about numbers in different ways including counting to ten, then  counting higher each time until we reach one hundred; counting by tens; counting by twos; and more.  We will sing all of the colors and talk about the colors students are wearing.  We will sing about a different coin or bill during each class meeting.  Parents can play the class video or the teacher videos posted in the classroom for their little learner to sing along and practice during the week.  We will sing a goodbye song to each other and wave goodbye at the end of class.
