Description

Class Experience

The class will start out with a get to know each other activity using their singing voices. Then, they will listen to the familiar song of the day to feel the beat and clap along. We will focus on listening to songs with the purpose of finding the tempo, beat and lyrical placement. Then, we will write song theme ideas and phrases that we want to use in the song. This is the brainstorm time. We will also work on free styling as a way to flow into ideas. The students and I will sing the song as...
