Welcome to Singing 101: Group Lessons With A Professional Singer Class #2 This second course will be taught in the same way as the first class was through a group setting with the use of visual and audio aides to help students understand the importance of valuable vocal practices. This will be done through a Power-Point. The teacher also has a professional microphone & mixer to help with sound delivery. Students will also have fun as they will continue to practice various scales, sounds, and techniques that are used to produce great vocal tone and diction. Topics that will be covered: 1. Review of Technical Terms Voice Teachers May Use & Their Meaning 2. Warm-ups for the 3 Vocal Registers 3. Extended Singing Exercises With Vowels & Their Placements 4. Singing With Good Diction ( understanding placement of consonants when singing) 5. Sight Singing/ Ear Training ( hearing and matching pitches exercises) 6. Intro and or review for some on how to best use solfege singing for learning sighting reading/ear training & harmonies 7. Singing Solfege Practice 8. Take Home Tips, (files, and video links for practice after class will be uploaded to the classroom page). Students are also welcome to ask any questions they have in the classroom page or during class. Note *Teacher Anne also offers private 1 on 1 voice lessons that can be specified to meet more detailed needs of each singer and are often best when trying to perfect a song for a performance, or prepare for auditions. If you do not see a bookable time-frame available for private lessons and desire to take some after this course, please send me a message and I will try to find an available time for lessons when possible. Generally I offer 30 minutes for ages up through 12 and 45 minutes for teens but am flexible in giving 30-45 minutes per student based on what the family prefers on a given day.

Teacher Anne began her career as a singing at the age of 13 and has sung in several choirs, musical theater productions, and special events in multiple states across the US over the course of the last 20 years. She study voice all throughout middle-school and highschool, received a scholarship to study voice and graduated in 2007 with a degree in Music. She then became a certified music instructor who has taught music for Prek-8th grade in the Florida pubic schools. She currently resides in Florida where she has appeared twice at the Tampa Bay Rays stadium to sing the National Anthem, has been in productions at both Manatee and Sarasota Players Theaters and sang several concerts with Sarasota's professional Choral Artists. More recently she has been singing around the state with her husband and they are known as "The Martin Duo". www.themartinduo.com
