US Grade 5 - 6
Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this class we will be working on basic division problems. Students will be engaged in fun, interactive lessons. We will discuss basic division skills. Division problems are concepts that do not come naturally to many children. Quite a lot of time may need to be dedicated in developing children's understanding of what division is and how it works. In my classes I will cover the concept of sharing in equal parts, and another basic division operations. We will be solving simple division problems in different concepts. Children will be learning to understand how to divide a set of objects into groups of different amounts. Students will learn to break down information from word problems in a quick sketch.
