Learners will complete the first half of Singapore Math Dimensions 6A in this 9-week semester course. This course will meet twice a week. *Learners must have the required books to take this course. The materials are listed in the "Supply List" section. I have taught and tutored math for about twenty years. I hold a current teaching certificate in K-8 elementary school, with a focus on math. I am halfway to my master's in secondary math. I really enjoy math - it is very relate-able to food and money!
1) Complete any workbook pages/problems assigned. 2) Review work done in the textbook. 3) Practice math facts - addition, subtraction, multiplication, division - as learned in class. 4) Optional homework assignments can be completed as the practice is needed.

This is an optional resource and not required for learners. Learners will be given a username and password upon request. This class also provides matching supplementary lessons from Khan Academy and Splashlearn - both of which you can use without accounts, or create accounts. Both of these resources are optional and not required for this class as well.
