I have taught and tutored math for about twenty years. I hold a current teaching certificate in K-8 elementary school, with a focus on math. I am halfway to my master's in secondary math. I really enjoy math - it is very relate-able to food and money!
Homework Offered
1) Complete any workbook pages/problems assigned. 2) Review work done in the textbook. 3) Practice math facts - addition, subtraction, multiplication, division - as learned in class. 4) Optional homework assignments can be completed as the practice is needed.
2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Parents should please assist their students in sending the teacher the "Test" assessments in private messages before the next class, if requesting a grade or assistance. Please do not post answers to Tests on the classroom public posts.
Grades Offered
1) No grade - If you do not request a grade, no grade will be provided. I do, however, take notes on learner attendance and class participation on all learners, if you would like to discuss your learner’s participation. 2) Class (in class and commenting on posts) participation only (100% of grade) 3) Participation (40%) and tests (60%) - To receive a test grade for the semester, you must submit the Tests from the Test books (see supply list) through the learner/teacher tab. Grade certificate: A grade certificate will be provided at the end of the semester after you submit all of the material to me. Please send me a message at the end of the semester to let me know you are ready for your grade certificate.
1) The successful completion of the previous semester of this book series (Dimensions 3A) and partial completion of the 3B book.

2) Passing score on the Dimensions 3A placement test. Partial score on the Dimensions 3B placement test.
