Description

Class Experience

Learners are required to bring the textbook and workbook to class to show me that you have the materials. I cannot allow learners that do not have their materials to participate in the class. The materials are listed in the "Supply List" section.

Learners should come to class with questions they would like to receive assistance with, or what problems they would like to complete in class, within the lessons listed in the schedule below. This is not a teaching class, but an assistance class....

I have taught and tutored math for about twenty years. I hold a current teaching certificate in K-8 elementary school, with a focus on math. I am halfway to my master's in secondary math. I really enjoy math - it is very relate-able to food and money!

1) Complete any workbook pages/problems assigned.
2) Review work done in the textbook.
3) Practice math facts - addition, subtraction, multiplication, division - as learned in class.
4) Optional homework assignments can be completed as the practice is needed.
