And not being able to read printed notation often keeps learners from reaching their full potential—even if they take private voice lessons. Sing the Right Notes (Level A) answers the questions "what do singers need to know about music?" and "why do they need to know it?" Upon completing this class, learners will be able to describe the challenges of learning the notes of a song using music-specific vocabulary words such as "rhythm" and "pitch," and explain the difference between musicianship and technique as they relate to singing.
