In this 30 minute ASL enrichment class, children will enjoy music, movement, singing, beginner American Sign Language vocabulary instruction, puppets and story time! We will practice songs and ASL signs in each session and build through weekly repetition. No ASL experience is required, parents should encourage children to use the signs that they learn each week at home and with others. Sing & Sign ASL Fun! In this highly engaging class, students will build an American Sign Language Vocabulary with weekly lessons incorporating ASL signs, music, movement, puppets and interactive story time! We will practice a variety of songs and signs each week, expanding on what we have learned with new signs, greetings, questions and conversations each week. Examples include: Colors, Opposites, Food, Animals, Feelings, Numbers, Letters, Spelling and SO much more!
Miss Dena has been teaching American Sign Language in a fun and engaging way for over 10 years in the classroom. Join her as she guides your child in a patient and relaxed program incorporating ASL as we play and sing together!
