My teaching style is fun and engaging.  Children learn best when they are having fun!  There is no prior knowledge needed for this class.  Since this is a flex class, there are no live meetings; however, I am available to answer your questions any time during the 4 weeks of class!   Also, having the prerecorded video allows you to replay parts of the video at any time, for extra help as needed :).  

Each week, I will present my prerecorded video and printables of the signs we learn to download.  At the end of each week, each learner will need to upload their progress on signing the letters learned so I can help in any sign that needs to be improved and those that are perfect before going onto learning new letters.   

There will be worksheets assigned to be completed each week and handed into the classroom to ensure each learner can also recognize signs as well as make the signs.  

After I see each learners complete video of their signs of the alphabet, they will receive a certificate of completion for this class.  

After 4 weeks, each student will be able to:
    1.  Sing and sign the "Alphabet Song"
    2.  Sing and sign our "Hello Song" 
    3.  Sing and sign our "Goodbye Song"
    4.  My name is _________.   (each child will receive a handout on how to fingerspell their name, in addition to practicing it along with me, in a video).  

Letters to be learned each week will follow the schedule below:
     Week 1:  Letters ABCDEFG
     Week 2:  Letters HIJKLMNO
     Week 3:  Letters PQRSTUV
     Week 4:  Letters WXYZ
