Description
Class Experience
Students will learn some songs that they can sing. The students will experience tempo (fast and slow) in music. The students will participate and experience dynamics (loud and soft) in music. They will practice keeping a steady beat with the music to begin to gain an understanding of tempo and steady beat. The students will be able to clap quarter notes. They will be able to move to the music and perform motions along with the songs. Students will begin to recognize the different between quarter notes and eighth notes. They will be able to practice clapping quarter notes and eighth notes.
I am an Outschool teacher and I have been teaching on outschool since May 2020. I have 20+ years experience, as a music teacher and performer. I have taught piano, electric keyboard, guitar, and general music classes, in both the classroom and private settings. I have taught preschool music classes at daycare centers. I taught private piano and guitar lessons at a guitar shop, for 5 years, in addition to my own private students in my studio. I have a bachelor's degree in music education, from Towson University, plus graduate studies in music education.
No homework will be required
No supplies necessary. Just themselves , wearing comfortable clothes to move around in.
