Sing Like a Pro, With a Pro! A Vocal Performance Master Class for Teens

Live performance is critical to a young singer's education. In this class students will sing, get coached by a professional, and learn to give and receive helpful feedback from peers. These skills will help children grow as confident and resilient musicians. 

Teaching strategies will include teacher modeling, student imitation, group singing, individual performances, peer to peer feedback, note taking, and classroom discussion. 

Students will learn: 
-vocal techniques, exercises, and performance strategies
-body language skills to help them look and feel more confident while singing
-tips for coping with stage fright 
-how to properly hold and sing into a microphone
-how to observe and learn from other performers 
-how to receive and give helpful peer-feedback 

Students verbal and written customized feedback-  specific on how they can improve. They will leave feeling more confident in their ability and talent. I am a warm, confident, and humorous teacher.
