In this four day, small group class, the official KIDZ BOP vocal coach will teach fans vocal techniques using popular KIDZ BOP songs. Learners will receive one-on-one attention from Vanessa and get the opportunity to perform solo or in a group. This singing-specific workshop is for kids' looking to improve their vocal training and will focus on both live performance and on-camera techniques. Kids will learn proper warm-up/breathing techniques, experiment with different pitches and intonations, and learn how to use expressive vocal patterns to convey a message. After a fun and engaging lesson, students will feel like stars when they get the chance to sing live for their new friends. Vanessa will provide feedback for each student so they can feel confident and continue to improve. By the end of the workshop, learners will be able to perform two official KIDZ BOP tracks. Next stop, Hollywood! 4-DAYS OF SINGING, DANCING, AND PERFORMING. Each class will include: - Intros / Vocal Warm-ups - Vocal Lesson: Vanessa will teach class how to properly sing the song with lyrics and melody. - Techniques: Kids will learn how to connect with the lyrics (expressions, gestures, inflections, etc.) and express themselves through vocal performance. - Performances: Future pop stars get to perform solo and show how they would perform the track and make it uniquely theirs, incorporating vocal expression and choreography.
Learning Goals
By the end of the 4-day workshop, students will be able to perform at least two popular KIDZ BOP songs.

Supply List
- Learners should have a secondary device for music playback (phone, tablet, etc.) as there are sometimes audio delays on Zoom. A link to the track will be sent out in advance of class. - Students should keep water nearby to stay hydrated

Vanessa is a vocal coach based in Los Angeles, and has trained extensively in the craft of Vocal performance and training for over 15 years. She has toured the world as a vocalist and vocal coach sharing the stage with such artists as Idina Menzel, Gwen Stefani, Olivia Holt, and of course The KIDZ BOP Kids!
Vanessa works closely with The KIDZ BOP Kids to help them sing their best with proper technical skills, stylistic choices, audience connection and vocal health. She was also the head vocal coach for the “KIDZ BOP Workshop,” where she worked closely with KIDZ BOP fans to teach them how to sing and perform live.
The experience gained working with artists in studio, on tour, and on set has given Vanessa a well-rounded knowledge of all aspects of vocal performance. Helping students around the world connect with their true voice and artist self has become a unique passion and skill.Reviews
