Description
Class Experience
In this “Sing-Along” style group class, a former Disney World performer and professional singer/actress will teach learners the basic techniques of singing in the stylings of your favorite Disney Princesses. Each lesson will focus on a different introductory singing technique and apply it to beloved songs from Disney movies featuring some of our favorite heroines. Technical skills covered in these lessons include: note articulation, dynamics, lyrics and storytelling, head voice vs. chest...
Students will learn the basics of proper singing technique with the goal of developing healthy habits for future music lovers and/or performers.
Students should familiarize themselves with the songs that will be used in the lesson prior to class. Practicing outside of class is encouraged to solidify confidence and retention of the material.
Learners will have the option of submitting a video recording of themselves singing their favorite song from their favorite lesson at the end of the class cycle for personalized feedback from the teacher.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
