In this ongoing course for absolute beginners, we will learn English (ESL) through music and movement. We will learn vocabulary words, counting, colors, speaking, and more. No previous experience or prior knowledge of English is necessary!

Would you like for your child to practice English? This class is a fun and easy way for them to learn new words, and to practice words that they may already know. This class is for beginners who do not know English, or only know a few words. For this class, I speak slowly and use lots of repetition, props, and TPR (gestures) to help the learners to understand. Children will learn basic English vocabulary words, such as: - Numbers - Colors - Names of animals - Names of objects in nature - Names of household objects - Names of toys - Parts of the body - Clothing - and much more. Children will learn the alphabet song. Children will learn to count to 10. Children will learn simple sentences, such as "I like _______." Children will learn many simple songs with easy-to-remember words and melodies.
I have been teaching music for 30 years. I have taught English for many years as well. I am TESOL-certified.
Please make sure the environment is safe for your child by clearing any potential dangers from the area. We have some songs that require movement like jumping, running, etc. Please stay nearby to help your child practice safe movement. Thank you!
