I am a certified early childhood teacher who loves to teach young children and see the excitement in their eyes when they are learning something new or just enjoying a topic or activity they are familiar with. I believe music gives the brain a joyful experience that helps for recalling information and when literature is added to a fun experience, the kids learn early reading concepts faster and easier.
The students may continue to use imaginative play on their own beyond the class experience.
Your student will need to bring: A teddy bear (or any beloved stuffed animal if a bear is not available) A white piece of paper A black marker Crayons, markers or colored pencils
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No formal assessment for this class but I will make sure each child gets a chance to participate and answer questions.
30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
