Feedback is given throughout the course, and final review on the last day.Class Experience
Students will pick up to two songs from Hamilton to learn and perform for the class either by a Capella or using a background track. We will also discuss the background of the character behind the lyrics. Day 1 - Meet and discuss songs and character breakdowns. Students will sing first song choice, and Teacher will provide feedback on what needs to be improved. Teacher will also provide vocal warm ups/exercises for the week. Day 2 - Students will sing through their second song selection, and the teacher will provide feedback on what still needs to be improved upon in student practice time. Students will continue to work on both songs for the following class. Day 3 - Students will perform both of their song selections, and teacher will provide a final feedback for each student. Length of song selections will vary based upon the number of students in the class. Each student should have at least 2 minutes of each song prepared and ready to sing for the appropriate class. Please provide song titles in the classroom before the start of the first class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn and perform one to two songs from the musical Hamilton. Having fun is a must!

Parental Guidance
Hamilton does deal with events that took place during our country’s early history. I do know that some songs have curse words and may deal with adult subjects.
