Sing and Play With French Circle Time! a Kindergarten French Program

In this class, students will be introduced to basic Kindergarten French Immersion French concepts such as colours, letters, numbers and thematic vocabulary taught by a French Immersion Kindergarten teacher with 10+ years experience. 

Classes will be taught using a musical, play-based approach! 
The class will begin with a welcome song, brief hello to each student and then we begin our calendar routine, focusing on counting, days of the week, the months etc. Then we will explore various French thematic vocabulary! Lastly, students will participate in an interactive activity: song, poem, felt story, puppet play, play materials or directed art lesson! 

ENROLMENT is monthly!

Week 1 - C’est L’hiver: Let’s explore signs of winter.  We will be drawing a snowman ⛄️ 
Week 2 - Les Vêtements d’hiver: Bring your winter gear to class and let's learn how to dress for winter
Week 3 - Les Animaux d’Hiver : This class includes a song and directed drawing lesson
Week 4 -  Les Manchots 🐧 ! All about Penguins

Week 1 - Castles and Fairy Tales 🏰 Les Contes Fees: Let's explore the royal kingdom, learn a song and draw a castle!
Week 2 - Love and Friendship: l’amour ❤️ Learn how to make a craft for Valentine’s Day!
Week 3 - Family: Ma famille 👧🏻🧒🏻 learn vocabulary to describe your family!
Week 4 - Goldilocks and the 3 bears: Let's explore sizes in French.

Week 1 - L’arc-en-ciel: Rainbows 🌈 let’s explore colours with a colour mixing experiment! 
Week 2 - St. Patrick’s day! 🍀 Let’s play a little game with the leprechaun!
Week 3 - My Body: Mon Corps🧍🏻‍♀️Learn about the parts of the body in French.
Week 4 - Food: la nourriture 🍕 let’s learn about different food vocabulary by designing our favourite pizza and singing a song by Charlotte Diamond! Drawing activity included.

APRIL 🌺
Week 1: C’est le printemps: it’s Spring! 🌺 let's learn about the garden and its insects! Learn to draw a bug.
Week 2: Easter Activity 🐣 : C'est la fête de Pâques + Craft 
NO CLASS Easter Weekend 
Week 3: Farm Animals 🐴 🐔  La Ferme: Playing an interactive game with farm animals, learn a song and show and tell!
Week 4: 3 little pigs 🐷 interactive story and drawing activity

Week 1 - Les Animaux de l’étang- The Pond  - Learn a song about ducks and an interactive game with frogs in this pond inspired class 🐸 🦆

Week3 -  Butterflies 🦋 - learn the butterfly life cycle plus participate in the hungry caterpillar interactive story
Week4 -  🐝 Les Abeilles - why are bees important?

Week 1 - Safari Animals 🦁 Les Animaux de la Savane. Bring your art materials for a directed drawing.
Week 2 - Summer ☀️ l’été - an introduction to summer vocabulary and craft.
Week 3 - NO CLASS FATHERS DAY
Week 4 - Under the sea 🐠 - Explore the beach and underwater with this Slippery Fish inspired class. Felt story and drawing activity.

Week 3: Alphabet 🔤 - Learn the alphabet song in French, show and tell to learn the names and letters of our favourite things. 
Week 4: Shapes ◼️⚫️🔺-  Lets make a rocket ship!

Week 1 - Apples: Lets learn about shapes and colours and how apples grow 
Week 2: Let's explore Pumpkins and make a craft
Week 3: Halloween part 1 - Lets learn French vocabulary such as ghosts, witches and skeletons via songs and crafts
Week 4: Halloween - Let's learn the song C'est Halloween and come dressed in costume.

Everything will be taught en français but will use English as well to aide with understanding. There will be lots of repetition and interaction in French! This is an introductory French class. No prior French necessary. 

🎧 Headphones are recommended for this class. Using headphones enhances language learning online. It will help the student hear my pronunciation more clearly which will help your child repeat more accurately. 🎧
