This simulation is provided by the 3M Young Scientists Lab and is completely safe for learners to use. 3M is a company that makes a variety of household products and they partnered with Discovery Education to provide a few interactive simulations for teachers to use in their classrooms. The simulation does not require an account and the URL has a little secure connection lock next to it when opened. The purpose of this simulation is to provide learners with the opportunity to practice using the Scientific Method, designing and performing their own experiment within certain parameters, and writing a lab report. LEARNERS UNDER THE AGE OF 13: If your learner is under the age of 13 and in accordance with Outschool's Safety Policy, please provide your explicit permission for your learner to access and use the simulation described above. A link to the simulation can be provided upon request.
