Please note that the curriculum itself is not included with this course and must be purchased separately. Proof of purchase is required prior to enrollment and should be submitted to the instructor to meet course policies. This program is designed to provide a solid foundation in mathematics for students through an engaging and structured curriculum. With a combination of independent learning and guided instruction, students will: Build critical math skills through 60 lessons, ideally completed over a standard school year. Watch instructional videos, complete lesson practices, and review multiplication facts. Scheduling and Pacing Standard Schedule: Students completing four lessons weekly will finish within a traditional school year, allowing time for breaks. Flexible Options: Parents may adjust the pacing based on student needs. Lessons can be divided into smaller sections or completed at an accelerated pace. Support for All Learners Fast Learners: Students confident in material may take unit assessments to skip content or proceed to the next level. Struggling Students: Concepts are reviewed regularly, and reference guides are provided for challenging topics like conversions, area, and long division. Videos and Lesson Practice Videos contain the primary teaching content and are highly recommended for student success. Students who are confident in a topic may substitute videos with mini-lesson readings. Parents may also teach these lessons if preferred. Independent Work The course is primarily designed for independent learning. However, parents or teachers may need to assist with challenging concepts and are encouraged to review and grade completed work daily to provide immediate feedback. Program Features A spiral learning approach ensures concepts are reviewed and retained. Scratch paper or a designated scratch pad is recommended for additional workspace. The curriculum emphasizes general Christian principles like kindness and honesty without focusing on specific denominational doctrines. This comprehensive course will help students strengthen their math skills in a flexible and supportive online environment! *Upon completion of this course please enroll in The Good and the Beautiful Curriculum Grade 4 Part 2.
