Class Experience
We will begin the class with a 10-15 minute whiteboard review of simplifying expressions by using the distribute property and combining like terms. (We will specifically focus on what to do with a negative sign in front of parenthesis.) The remainder of the 50 minute course will be used to play BINGO as students solve problems while racing to fill their BINGO cards. Students will review simplifying expressions, then work towards mastery while practicing in a fun way.
Current Florida certified Math teacher in good standing with 5 years of classroom experience.
Game supplies will be provided. Students can either print out their bingo cards at home, or use a digital version.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
