In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to simplify and perform operations with radicals. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using visual models and/or decomposing numbers to find answers will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a basic understanding of evaluating exponents and what a root of a number is before attending this class. Please schedule carefully, as missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded.
