In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to solve involving dilating shapes on the coordinate plane and finding the scale factor of similar shapes. Similar shapes are those that consist of the same number of sides and angle measures, but have proportional side lengths to each other. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies to find answers will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a basic understanding of multiplying and dividing before attending this class. Please note that missed classes will not be refunded or reschedule.
