Music is a must! Taking a short break to sing some fun songs with friends is a great way to "reset" a tired brain. Music can help learners to refresh and renew their focus. Along the way, they will learn some fun, memorable songs and build a fun-filled community! We'll sing lots of crazy and catchy songs: favorite "camp" songs, fun folk song classics, call-and-response chants, and much, much more. We'll do a few familiar songs, as well as new-to-you numbers that are sure to get your toes tapping. No slow, sleepy, snoozer songs here! We will also play some fun, interactive games. Lyrics will be provided for each song, so some reading ability is helpful. (Though if your learner learns new songs easily, reading is optional.) I also offer a weekly music class for younger learners featuring easier, simpler songs. The age ranges for these classes are flexible, so feel free to choose the class that best suits your child. The weekly classes will not build upon one another, so learners may join at any time. New themes will continually be added in the coming weeks; we will not be cycling back through the same themes. The themes for the first four weeks are: Week of Feb 20: Funky Food Week of Feb 27: Crazy Characters Week of March 6: Nonsense Soup Week of March 13: Places to Go When you sign your learner up for this class, you are beginning a weekly subscription. Every Sunday, you will be charged only for the upcoming week’s class. Need to take a break? Simply unsubscribe, then resubscribe whenever you like. Just want to try out the class? Subscribe, try the class, then unsubscribe.
