Class Experience

US Grade 4
We will use silly strategies to come up with fictional ideas for an outrageous story! Using homophones, noun/adjective/verb wheels, we will craft our ideas that will lead to imaginative stories.

I will model the whole way and use a patient style that includes phonics, punctuation rules, dialogue (with quotations) and basic grammar.

We will compare different papers to point out effective and ineffective strategies.
We will spend time on sentence structure, paragraph structure, and work steadily towards writing a half to full page each week.
We will compare and contrast different types of introductions, conclusions, and sentences.

Learners can send me work each week to get individual feedback about their writing.

***Students must have a video on at the beginning of all class and access to turn the microphone on during class participation. All students are encouraged to participate.
Daily lesson worksheet and homework provided.
*All absences can watch the recording.
