Silly Hair Sight Words (Dolch-Primer) (Taught by a Certified Teacher)!
In this 5-week Flex Course (Asynchronous), we get to wear our silly hair while we learn how to read Sight Words (also great for preschool, homeschool, and afterschool) (Autism, ADHD, ELL/ESL friendly).

Description
Class Experience
In this 5-week Flex (Asynchronous) class we will have a blast learning how to read Dolch Primer Sight Words (words that we see all of the time while reading). Learners can wear their favorite silly hair during class if they would like to (optional). We will use flash cards, magnetic letters (by themselves), magnetic letters on a whiteboard, words typed on an online whiteboard, and build Sight Word Pyramids to help us learn how to read/identify Sight Words! I am a certified EC-12 teacher with nearly 10 years of experience teaching Reading skills to learners.
1 file available upon enrollmentLearners will need to have access to 6 plastic cups (any color), a highlighter or marker (any color), clear tape, scissors, and 3 blank index cards (per week) to build a Sight Words Pyramid as a weekly assignment. This activity is optional, but it's a fun way to learn Sight Words. Learners can also wear silly hair of their choice for this class (also optional).
No live meetings, and an estimated 4+ hours per week outside of class.
Parents/guardians please provide close supervision if you're allowing your child/children to use scissors while completing the Sight Words Pyramid activity. Safety is our top priority! Thank you. I greatly appreciate it.
