Hello! Welcome to my Zoo edition ASL class. We will be learning signs zoo animals. The signs will be demonstrated to the students, and students are encouraged to sign back to the teacher in order to ensure proper hand-shapes, palm orientations, and movement. My style of teaching is very interactive, positive and hands-on. In class, we will be reading Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell, singing 'Let's Go To The Zoo' and playing an interactive game. Structure: 1. ASL introductions (5 minutes) 2. Live instruction- Learn ASL through book reading, singing and game (15 minutes) 4. Review signs (5 minutes) I am looking forward to learning, laughing, and signing with your children soon!
