Sign and Play Storytime class is a fun way for preschoolers to develop important language skills through stories and signs. Each week we will read a story together, learn 5-6 ASL signs that compliment the story's vocabulary, and play a game or make a craft that goes with the story's theme. My teaching style is very interactive, positive and hands on, and I pride myself in offering fun learning opportunities. I believe that children develop a love of learning through positive, encouraging learning environments. Please make sure students have room to get up and move as some of the songs require whole body movements. Students do not need to have a copy of the book for class but if they do own a copy are welcome to bring it class so they can follow along. Parental Guidance
Some games may require that students have extra floor space, tennis shoes, and adult supervision. These games are very appropriate for children between 3-6 and I have used them in my classrooms for years.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
