In this ongoing class, students will become wizards at sight words. We will be using a slideshow to see the words and motions to help us remember them. We will also do several other fun activities to help us learn our sight words. Students will be expected to repeat the words as well as engage in spelling them and acting them out. We will get silly and practice saying the words in different voices and even play games to practice our sight word knowledge. Basic sight words are a huge help to...
Students will learn new sight words as we progress through lessons starting with the pre-primer and moving forward.
Parents will be provided with printable flashcards they can use to review words.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
