If you have taken part 1 then, you are ready for part 2! In this fun sight word class, students will delve the remaining 20 words from the pre-kindergarten Dolch Sight Words list. During the 4 sessions, student will learn 5 new sight words. Each session will have a review of the previous weeks' sight words, as well as words from Sight Words to Phrases to Sentences, Part 1. The new words are mixed with the review words so students can expand on previous taught words while learning new sight words. Learners will make flashcards, read phrases and simple sentences, and create their own silly sentences with new sight words. ****This is also a great class for kindergarten students or first graders who need to review or learn sight words.**** SCHEDULE: *Student Introductions (1st class only)/ Sight Word Review (classes 2-4)----5 minutes *Create 5 Flashcards-----5 minutes *Read Sight Word Phrases (each student has a turn)------4 minutes *Read Simple Sentences (each student has a turn)-------4 minutes *Fill in the blanks with the correct sight word (each student has a turn)------4 minutes *Flashcard Review and Silly Sentences (each student has a turn)-------5 minutes *Goodbye Sight Words for Part 2: away/ blue/ come/ down/ find/ funny/ help/ jump/ little/ not/ one/ play/ red/ run/ three/ two/ up/ where/ said/ yellow/

Hello! I am Teacher Jennifer DeAnna. I have 10 years of teaching experience teaching reading and English. I taught ESL, middle school reading, and I supervised ESL teachers for an education program.
I received an English Bachelors degree from Southern University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of New Mexico.
I understand the importance of reading and helping kids to improve their reading skills and pronunciation of words. To enhance the learning journey, I enjoy using props, a lot of energy and strategies to help students improve their confidence while reading.
My goal is to make every class fun and full of laughter. I love to read. I love to dance. I enjoy writing books for kids. I also love spending time with my husband and three kids. We enjoy traveling and watching movies as a family.
