Description

Class Experience

In this ongoing class that meets 1x a week (Thursdays for now), students will listen to stories from the Curious George Sight Words book series and the Sight Word Tales book series, we will sing songs, trace the words, color the sight words in a picture, and find the sight words in a word search puzzle. There will be a pdf file that will need to be printed for each class. The pdf file can be found in the classroom in the comments the week of the class.

We will focus on 4 or 5 new sight words...

I have my bachelor's degree in music education and my master's degree in elementary education. I have taught young children in the public and private schools for many years and I love to use music and reading to make learning fun!

Please print the worksheet and have your child bring a pencil, crayons, markers, and/or colored pencils to each class. I will be reading one book during each class period from the Curious George Sight Words book set. You do NOT need these books to take this class, but if you would like for your child to follow along while I read and practice them after class, here is the link of where I bought them from:
