In this ongoing class that meets 2x a week (Mondays and Wednesdays for now), students will listen to stories from the Curious George Sight Words book series and the Sight Words Tale book series, we will sing songs, trace the words, color the sight words in a picture, and find the sight words in a word search puzzle. There will be a worksheet that will need to be printed for each class. The pdf file can be found in the classroom in the comments the week of the class. We will focus on 4-5 new...
- Students will learn several sight words during each class.
- Students will trace the sight words on the worksheet.
- Students will learn a song with the sight words of the day.
- Students will find the sight words in a word search puzzle and on the pictures.
I have my bachelor's degree in music education and my master's degree in elementary education. I have taught young children in the public and private schools for many years, as well as online for the past 6 years. I love to use music and reading to make learning fun!
