Description

Class Experience

We will work on developing sight word recognition. Students will read, say, spell, cover, write, and check new words. Once the routine is learned, students will quickly follow routines and convey their understanding of new words through participation. I will follow a developmentally appropriate kindergarten curriculum. Students will need to follow along on their own worksheets, reading the new word, tracing it, using it in speech, and writing it independently. Students require multiple...

This class is taught in English.

Students will be able to read, write, and spell one new sight word per class.  This serves as an introduction, and additional practice will be required for master. Stick with me, and I will support this mastery!

I am certified in many areas, including literacy.

Practice writing and reading the new word outside of class - worksheets will be provided!

Crayons/markers/pencil and paper.
Worksheets

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Participation and homework.

50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Technological guidance will be helpful; printing worksheets.
