In this class, learners will practice some words from Fry's First 100 sight words by reading the words, reading sentences, games, activities and sometimes a craft! Show and tell at the end!

Each learner will receive their very own booklet to complete at their own pace. Once all 10 circles have been colored or have a sticker, they will have mastered 100 words! They can also finish their masks if they weren't able to finish during class.Class Experience
US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
Come join us dressed in your favorite superhero costume or bring your favorite superhero toy! In this one time class you will learn the first 5 Fry sight words with Mrs. Tori- we will read the first 5 words together, read some sentences that contain the those words, play games and do an activity or craft as time allows. We will do some superhero exercises for a brain break. Did you know: Fry's list of the first 100 words make up 50% of the most frequently used words in print children will read. During class, we will read loud and clear and actively participate so we can see the superhero make an appearance on each slide! If you then decide to take the ongoing class-there will be 5 different words, games, activities and sometimes crafts each week. Come join us! You are a sight word superhero! BONUS: You will receive your very own 50-word sight word superhero practice booklet! I am a patient and encouraging teacher and learners will be sure to have fun!
Learning Goals
Learners will practice the first 5 most frequent sight words for Kindergarten and First Grade. We will also do a activity or craft and practice our coloring and cutting skills while following simple directions.

Hey there! I am Mrs. Tori and I am so happy to meet you-Let me tell you a little about myself. I am interested in teaching all things creative including sewing, art and budgeting mixed with some fun and engaging language arts, phonics, reading, science and math. I have a Masters in Early Childhood Education. I have taught in the public school, private school, and online settings as well as teaching kids to sew and create. I have taught all core subjects in grades K-3, as well as sewing and embroidery. I love getting to know my learners and patiently helping them succeed and develop a love of learning. I can’t wait to meet your child in class. I have two adult children, ages 22 and 23, a husband who is a Pediatric ER Nurse, one dog and two cats.
