US Grade Kindergarten - 1
Do you have a play-doh loving learner on your hands? Play-doh is not only a VERY fun supply, but it is a great tool to help build those hand muscles, which help with better handwriting! There are so many fun things to do with play-doh! In this course, we will use play-doh to build sight words. We will practice the following words: are for her when want what During the class, we will build the sight word with play-doh, discuss any vowel patterns/blends/digraphs or special spellings, practice writing the word, using the word in a sentence and singing a sight word song to help us remember the correct spelling! This class will be A LOT of fun, with A LOT of learning! We will take a few brain breaks to spend time playing with the play-doh, too! If your learner needs a specific list of words to work on, please let me know. I would love to create a class or one on one tutoring time to help.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their spelling skills through the use of play-doh building!
